Recently, Henan Energy Group revealed that its foreign exchange earnings from exports in 2022 reached $105 million, officially entering the ranks of strong export enterprises in Henan Province with over $100 million in exports, achieving a historic breakthrough.
In 2022, the global chemical market fluctuated frequently, and international trade faced numerous challenges. Henan Energy Chemical Sales Company pressed ahead and bucked the trend, continuously intensifying the market development efforts along the "Maritime Silk Road" and its neighboring countries. It focused on strengthening in-depth cooperation with Fortune 500 companies such as Trafigura from the United States, BASF from Germany, Petroliam Nasional Berhad from Malaysia, and Lotte from South Korea. Its products were exported to nearby coastal countries such as South Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, and India, as well as distant overseas countries like Germany, Turkey, Poland, and Morocco, with a cumulative export volume of 150,000 tons, achieving leapfrog development in international trade.
Ammonia synthesis products are the focus of the international trade carried out by the chemical sales company. Relying on Zhanjiang Port, the company continuously developed Jiangsu Dafeng Port and Fujian Kemen Port. In response to different customers' requirements for different ship types and quantities, it gradually achieved full coverage of three ship types, namely, large (20,000 tons), medium (10,000 tons), and small (4,000 tons). Since the first ship carrying 15,000 tons of ammonia synthesis products was exported to India in April 2022, the domestic "multi-port linkage" for shipping and dispatching was achieved in just eight months. The goal of "becoming the nation's No. 1 in ammonia synthesis product exports" set at the beginning of 2022 was successfully achieved.
In 2023, the group will actively integrate into the national "dual circulation" strategy and further expand and strengthen its international trade.
